These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the Blurrica browser extension, published by PuzzWe, a Société par Actions Simplifiée Unipersonnelle (SASU) registered under number 107 118 499 R.C.S. Paris, with its registered address at 47 rue Vivienne, 75002 Paris, France (hereinafter “Blurrica”, “we”).
These Terms apply to all Blurrica users, whether during the free trial period or as a paid subscriber. For terms specific to the paid subscription (price, payment, cancellation), see our Terms of Sale. For details on how we handle your personal data, see our Privacy Policy.
Installing and using Blurrica implies full and unreserved acceptance of these Terms, evidenced by a dedicated checkbox at account creation.
Blurrica is a browser extension that automatically detects and hides content likely to reveal plot elements (“spoilers”) of video games, on the web pages you visit, based on the games you choose to follow.
Blurrica relies on automated, keyword-based text analysis and is not intended to detect every possible spoiler, nor to replace user vigilance (see Article 7).
Using Blurrica requires creating an account associated with a valid email address. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information provided at registration and for the confidentiality of your login credentials.
Use of Blurrica is reserved for individuals aged 16 or older, under the conditions set out in Article 2 of our Terms of Sale.
Upon creating your account, you receive a free trial period giving you access to the Extension’s premium features. After this period, access is suspended until you subscribe to a paid plan, under the conditions set out in our Terms of Sale.
Within Blurrica, you may search for and select video games you wish to follow, so that the Extension can detect spoilers related to them. These selections constitute preference data associated with your account, not original content created by you: they correspond to existing games referenced via the IGDB API, and do not grant you any intellectual property rights.
You may add, modify, or delete these preferences at any time from the Extension’s interface.
Blurrica, including its source code, interface, brand, logo, and all graphic and technical elements that make it up, is the exclusive property of PuzzWe. Any unauthorized reproduction, modification, distribution, decompilation, or exploitation of all or part of the Extension is strictly prohibited, except with our prior written consent or as permitted by law.
Use of Blurrica only grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right of use, limited to the duration of your active account.
You agree to use Blurrica in accordance with its intended purpose, as described in Article 1. The following are prohibited:
In the event of a breach of these rules, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access, under the conditions set out in Article 10 of our Terms of Sale.
We implement reasonable measures to ensure the availability of Blurrica, without guaranteeing uninterrupted or error-free access. The service may be temporarily suspended for maintenance, updates, or due to circumstances beyond our control (failure of a technical provider, force majeure).
As spoiler detection relies on automated, keyword-based text analysis, Blurrica does not guarantee exhaustive or infallible detection of all content that may constitute a spoiler, regardless of its source or wording. You acknowledge that using Blurrica constitutes an aid in preventing spoiler exposure, not an absolute guarantee against it.
We may modify these Terms, in particular to reflect changes to the service or applicable regulations. Any substantial change will be notified to you by email or via the Extension’s interface before it takes effect. Continued use of Blurrica after such notification constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
These Terms are governed by French law, subject to the mandatory consumer protection provisions applicable in your country of habitual residence within the European Union, which you continue to benefit from in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 593/2008 (Rome I).
Any dispute relating to these Terms falls under the jurisdiction of the French courts, without prejudice to your right, as a consumer, to bring proceedings before the courts of your place of residence, in accordance with applicable EU regulations (Regulation (EU) No 1215/2012).
